We are starting a Christian based car club, focused on Customs of any kind, family and getting together for fun with no hassles. It will not be a church, but, will have a Christian influence and be family safe. My goal is to be the spot between the churched and unchurched where we can meet and share an interest in the car world.
I already have a few members interested and looking for more. If you have an interest, and would like more info let me know. This is open to anyone that is interested, you don't have to own a custom, be a member of any church or have any other knowledge. All you need to be a member is the desire to be part of our family of Chritstian car lovers!!
Once up and running, the club will meet about once a month for a picnic in the park type event, fun for the family. We also will be hosting an event at Church Street Station downtown Orlando.
I have a 1968 Chevelle Nomad wagon that we will collectively build as a drag car for the club. Plans call for a 454/th 400, 12 bolt posi with 4.56 gears, mini tub with drag tires and safety equipment so all the club members can take a shot at driving a "real" drag car. I think it will be a fun, hands on experience for all involved.

This is the old Chevelle about eight years ago when we lived in Southern California.
It has not been on the road in a few years, but has to many memories to let it go.
